A note from Mrs Sandhu...

Dear Parents,  I hope you are all doing well in these unprecedented times. It has been an absolute pleasure to meet all your amazing children this week. They have all completed some transition work for me and I have been so impressed with their perseverance and thoughtful answers.  I am really looking forward to getting to know them next year.  Please could all the children continue to read and practise their 2s, 5s and 10s times tables. Next year we will be working on 3s, 4s and 8s times tables.  I wish you a relaxing and enjoyable summer break. Many thanks, Mrs Sandhu

Week beginning 13th July 2020

It has been lovely to see so many of the year 2 children return this week. Both 'bubbles' had a wonderful couple of days and settled into the new routines brilliantly. They enjoyed working through some transition activities and also produced some amazing pieces of artwork to music, based on the artist Wassily Kandinsky. Here are a few pictures of their creations: Group 1 Bubble: Group 2 Bubble: We've also had some lovely work from home too: The golden moment this week is awarded to the entire Year 2 class.  Well done for your hard work during lockdown - your resilience has been amazing and we are very proud of you all! We would like to thank all the Year 2 parents for all for your effort and support during home learning - we have loved seeing all of the children's creations each week.  We wish you all a very relaxing summer and look forward to welcoming ever

I'm sure many of you are getting excited about coming into school next week - we are really looking forward to seeing you back. We have still put together a learning grid for next week, for the days when you are not in school. If you are not coming in for the 2 transition days you may want to spend some time looking at the transition page on the school website as it contains lots of videos and information about next year.
