Soup, Glorious Soup!

The last couple of weeks have been incredibly busy and the class and I are all eagerly anticipating the Easter break! Firstly, I would like to thank all the parents who came for Parents evening on Monday and Tuesday. Although very tiring, it was nice to share with you how well your children have been doing. They really are a wonderful class!

Last week, we hosted our annual Soup Kitchen in the dining hall. The children were extremely well behaved all day and impressed me with their culinary skills. We created some delicious tasting soups and had great fun sharing the experience with you all. Thank you for your feedback at the end of the day. The children were very proud to hear that their restaurant received five stars!

Here are some pictures from the day...

Hope you have all enjoyed an extra long weekend with the snow!

This half term is flying by already and we still have lots of learning to squeeze in before the Easter holidays. In the final week of this half term, year 2 will be hosting a special event linked to our Healthy Soup topic so keep an eye out for a letter with more information that will be coming out soon.

On Friday of this week we will be celebrating Mother's Day and we hope to see lots of you there.

Here are a few photos of some of the exciting things we have been doing this term...
