Welcome back...

Welcome to the Summer term!

Hopefully you have had relaxing Easter breaks and your children are ready for lots of learning.

Our topic throughout the Summer is all about the seaside. We will be learning about the geography of the beach and the type of creatures that we might find there. We will also be comparing seaside holidays today with holidays in the past.

On your child's homework sheet, hopefully you will have seen a request for photographs. We are looking for photos from when you yourselves were children and holidayed at the seaside. We are also hoping for some photos from grandparents who might have visited the seaside when they were younger. We will make sure that any photographs are returned at the end of the topic. please ensure that any photos that your child brings in are clearly labelled on the back.

The homework this week is some maths games on Abacus. I have allocated several games for your child to play and they can complete these over the coming weeks. Some of children may have come home with a new password on the back of their homework slip, if they thought that they didn't have their password at home. If anyone else struggles to log in to their account over the weekend, please let me know on Monday and I will allocate a new password.

Have a lovely weekend!

Roald Dahl Day

We had an amazing day  celebrating Roald Dahl Day. We dressed in wonderful costumes and joined in lots of unusual activities!

Here are some photos of our day...
