We have had an incredibly busy couple of weeks!

We had lots of fun on world book day and enjoyed sharing some of the stories that our characters came from. We did some fantastic descriptive writing based around our work on The Twits by Roald Dahl. Some of the description was very disgusting!

It was lovely to share our work that we have been doing in class with our families at parents evening. We had lots of lovely comments from our mums and dads about our writing, maths work, science and RE topics.

It was lovely to see so many family members at our Mothers Day Mass on Friday. We really enjoyed talking about our mums and thinking about what makes them so special. We hope you all enjoyed our singing and readings!

This week, we have Science, Maths and Engineering activities going on all week. Our main workshop is on Wednesday morning and we are really looking forward to it. We also have a special drama workshop on Tuesday afternoon where a company are coming in to work with our class. On Thursday morning, we are going on a local walk to the nearby park, followed by mass at Our Lady of Lourdes. If there are any more parents able to support us on this trip, please contact Mrs Stocks.

If the weather permits, we will be celebrating Sport Relief day on Friday by competing in our house cross country event. Please ensure you have trainers in school on this day in order to participate.
