Welcome to year two!

We have had a wonderful start to our year two adventure. Making the most of the autumnal sunshine, we started to look at nature as God’s artwork when studying the work of Andy Goldsworthy. We worked in teams to design, gather materials and start the creation process. Have a look at our amazing final pieces. 

When we came into school on Monday, there was a little surprise waiting for us on the carpet. We received a letter, some wooden pegs and wool. It was a mysterious combination but when we found our new book “Silly Billy”, all became clear. 
In the story, Billy has some worries that he shares with his Grandma and she gives him a special worry doll to help him overcome his emotions. We made our own worry dolls and enjoyed thinking of questions we could ask Billy. We interviewed Billy and became more familiar with asking and answering questions in role.
